About KOPINO

KOPINO is an online live auction platform that focuses on new, brand-name consumer electronics and related products. The site runs real-time auctions where users can bid on items such as home entertainment systems, computers, cameras, and other tech goods. Auctions typically start at very low prices, sometimes as low as a few euro cents, and participants must register for a free account before bidding. Instead of paying per bid directly, customers purchase bid credit packages, called bidding rights, which are then spent each time they place a bid. Each bid both consumes one bidding right and increases the auction price by a small fixed amount. The service appears to be primarily targeted at customers in Germany, and terms and conditions specify that only German members and leads are counted for program purposes. KOPINO emphasizes new, high-quality products and provides customer support and account tools to track bidding activity and purchases.
